4 new things to eat this week
We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you.
Fernson Downtown recently added these crispy brussels spouts to the menu. They’re fried and served with crispy garlic, Calabrian chili, herbs and lemon.
We’re loving Poppy’s Popcorn’s Easter line of popcorn balls and cake pops — whether you’re of Easter basket age of not.
Firehouse Subs has introduced a limited-time pepperoni pizza meatball sub. It features Italian meatballs in marinara, double the melted provolone cheese of a regular meatball sub and crispy slices of pepperoni, all stuffed into a toasted garlic bread sub roll. Loyalty members can order it now on the app, and it will be available to all customers starting April 5.
And finally, you have to wonder: What took so long to think of this? But the adult “Lunchable” definitely is having a moment. Here’s a Hy-Vee take on it: A 12-ounce ribeye, baked potato and two Coors Lights.
