4 new things to eat this week

Looking for a spicy start to breakfast? Look’s Marketplace has a new addition: huevos rancheros. Crispy corn tortillas are covered in rancheros sauce and covered with black beans, roasted corn, pico de gallo, feta cheese and an over-easy fried egg.

Here’s a neat twist on a caprese salad before the garden tomatoes are in full harvest. Chef Brendan Parks at Parker’s Bistro has created Watermelon Caprese. It’s bites of watermelon, fresh mozzarella and basil in a balsamic reduction with olive oil and smoked sea salt.

If you’re craving carbs, MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub has a new dish for you. Ultimate BBQ Fries features crispy fries topped with classic Mack & Cheese, pulled pork, bourbon barbecue sauce and green onion.

In the what-took-them-so-long category, Cinnabon has created Chocolate Bon Bites. The mini cinnamon rolls have chocolate baked in and in the frosting on top. There’s still a vanilla frosting swirl too.
