We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

The Original Pancake House is featuring the Winter Blues Menu on weekdays. Our pick is the Baked Sweet Potato Smash. Grilled sweet potato halves are topped with pickled red onion, bacon, avocado, a fried egg with sriracha syrup and everything seasoning. It’s served with a choice of side.

Check out this gourmet Chili Dog available through February at Rivage Oak Kitchen. A wagyu hot dog is topped with elk chili, roasted corn succotash, stracciatella cheese and avocado. It’s served with potato wedges.

Here’s a featured item that’s perfect for sharing. The Cajun Mixed Grill is part of the Taste of New Orleans dinner menu at 22Ten Kitchen Cocktails. The limited-time small plate includes blackened shrimp, chicken wings, andouille sausage and hush puppies with creole barbecue sauce for dipping.

If you missed National Chocolate Cake Day on Tuesday, there’s still time to treat yourself to a slice. Intoxibakes is featuring the new Chocolate Mousse Jumbo Cake Slice. A  piece of chocolate cake is topped with a decadent mousse and drizzled with chocolate ganache. The nonboozy dessert expected to be around through the weekend and might become part of the regular rotation.
