4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

Let’s start with an appetizer. Squealer’s Smoke Shack in Tea has added Boom Boom Shrimp. Battered and fried shrimp are smothered in Boom Boom sauce.

With a cold spring like we’re having, Blarney Stone has a featured entree that will hit the spot. The new Chicken Marsala is a lightly breaded chicken breast that’s grilled and served on the downtown restaurant’s signature champs potatoes. It’s topped with a creamy mushroom marsala sauce. The dish is available from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. for the next month.

The new brick-and-mortar version of Randle’s Kitchen at 114 N. Indiana Ave. has a menu filled with favorites from the one-time food truck. Owners Shona Randle and daughter Jordan are especially proud of their cheeseburger that comes with fries. The seasoned one-quarter pound patty is topped with cheese lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion with a choice of mayo or Miracle Whip — add your own ketchup and mustard. It’s served on a bun that has been buttered and toasted.

It’s Lasagna Fest time through June at Fazoli’s. Among the picks, try the Cheesy Double-Stack Lasagna, with 18 layers weighing in at 1.3 pounds. Lasagna noodles are layered with ricotta, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses, meat sauce and alfredo sauce.
