4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

If a bland BLT is never your menu choice, Tavern 180 has a spicy version that looks tempting. The JBLT features jalapeno bacon, iceberg lettuce, heirloom tomato and mayo on toasted sourdough.

Check out this plate of flavor. McNally’s Irish Pub has created Wild Mushroom Risotto for its fall features menu. Crimini, portobello, oyster and button mushrooms are cooked with Arborio rice in white wine and chicken brodo, or broth, and finished with fresh herbs. The dish is topped with grilled chicken.

Ready for Thanksgiving on a pizza? Papa Woody’s Wood-Fired Pizza has created The Gobbler. It’s mashed potatoes, pulled turkey, corn, turkey gravy, stuffing and cheese on a pizza crust.

Taco Bell has a new Double Steak Grilled Cheese Burrito. It has twice as much meat as a steak quesadilla. The flour tortilla also is filled with nacho cheese sauce, seasoned rice, crunchy red tortilla strips, creamy chipotle sauce, sour cream and a blend of three cheeses, with even more cheese grilled on top. There’s a regular version and a spicy one with jalapenos grilled with the cheese.
