4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

New featured pizzas are on the menu at Sunny’s Pizzeria, and this one is for pickle lovers. Pickle Me Timbers has ranch, mozzarella, bacon, pickles, banana peppers, green peppers and tomatoes with a dusting of bread crumbs and a drizzle of basil pesto.

There’s a new roast beef sandwich at Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen that’s inspired by the East Coast classic beef on weck. Shaved beef is topped with caramelized onion, gruyere and horseradish cream on a caraway and sea salt bun from Look’s Bakehouse. The “weck” is short for the kummelweck roll, a spin on the German kaiser roll.

MacKenzie River Pizza, Pub & Grill has added boneless wings to the menu. They’re tossed in spicy buffalo, barbecue bourbon or Thai peanut sauce. They’re served with carrots, celery and ranch dressing. You’ll have to pay an extra quarter for bleu cheese.

Here’s a fruity twist on a traditional Italian dessert. Johnny Carino’s has a raspberry tiramisu that’s available this month. It’s made fresh daily in the restaurant.
