4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

Roundhouse Brew Pub has started serving Sunday brunch, and while there are so many tantalizing choices, this one might be at the top of the list. The chorizo pizza is topped with chorizo, mozzarella, cheddar, eggs, pico de gallo, avocado, green onion and sour cream.

Take a wrap, grill it and enjoy the freshness inside with the crunch of the tortilla — that’s what you’ll find at Remedy Brewing Co. The new Remedy Grilled Wrap comes with your choice of chicken, beef or vegan meat with lettuce, chipotle sour cream, tomatos, black olives, salsa and cheese in a jalapeno cheddar flour tortilla.

Feeling adventurous? The Taste of New Orleans menu at Grille 26 is back, and there’s an Alligator Cake Po’Boy to enjoy this winter. The alligator patties are made in house and served on a hoagie with remoulade sauce, lettuce, tomato and pickle. Not so adventurous? There’s a fried shrimp version too.

Chef Chris Hanmer continues to prove his skills beyond pastries and ice cream. The chocolate confections at CH Patisserie have expanded to include bonbons. The shop is kicking off sales now for Valentine’s Day. The heart-shaped chocolates come in boxes with two, four or nine pieces in flavors of milk chocolate, peanut butter, vanilla bean, salted caramel, passion fruit and strawberry. They’ll take a short hiatus after the holiday so Hanmer can evaluate packaging sizes, flavors and shapes but will return as a year-round offering.
