4 new things to eat this week

Shake up your speedy lunch at Look’s Marketplace. It now features grab-and-go Shake Salads. Our pick is the one with kale, quinoa, marcona almonds and blueberries. Take out the dressing, pour it over the salad, reseal the container and shake it up to dress the salad and soften the kale. The blueberry dressing is made with avocado oil, yogurt and vinegar.

The new La Huehueteca Bakery & Cafe at 2400 W. Sixth St. has a huge case filled with Guatemalan breads and pastries, but it also serves hot foods. Our pick is the Tostada de Pollo. A crispy corn tortilla is topped with refried beans, lettuce, seasoned chicken, pico de gallo and salsa with a drizzle of crema. Hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Friday.

The Treasury’s Elevated Hotdish from its new menu is like your mom’s tater tot casserole met Gordon Ramsay. It features tots with braised beef, local wild mushrooms, queso and fresno chiles.

Chick-fil-A’s latest limited-time sandwich is the Jalapeno Ranch Club. Choose original, spicy or grilled chicken. It includes jalapeno ranch sauce, pickled jalapenos, pepper jack cheese and strips of caramelized-onion-flavored candied bacon, along with lettuce, tomato and pickles — all on a buttermilk ranch bun.
