We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

Looking to get out of the house this holiday break — or this winter? Union Social in Harrisburg just lowered the prices on its arcade games in response to feedback from the community. The entertainment center includes a full restaurant, and we thought this appetizer went well with game playing: Nachos Supreme, which is a mountain of tortilla chips smothered in queso, topped with tomatoes, lettuce, green onions, jalapenos and sour cream — with an option to include beef, chicken or pork.

Every winter, ramen returns to the menu at Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen. This year’s version starts with tonkotsu broth and includes seared chashu pork, bamboo shoots, soy egg and green onion. Shown is a version with a few add-ons: double egg, kimchi and chili crisp.

It’s not downtown so it won’t be a Burger Battle competitor, but the latest at Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews is worth a mention: The French Toast Supercharged Burger is topped with ham, cheddar cheese, fried egg and bacon on a sliced French toast bun with maple syrup on the side.

Or if you are downtown eating burgers and want to end the night on a sweet note, stop by Dahlia Kitchen + Bar for dessert. The restaurant is serving Tres Leches Cake. The cake is soaked in tres leche cream and topped with whipped cream. It’s served with orange liqueur macerated berries.
