We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

Rosie’s Cafe, which reopened in late December under new ownership, features traditional favorites for breakfast like bacon, eggs, hash browns and pancakes, but there are many new menu items like The Birdfeeder. Avocado toast is topped with soft scrambled eggs, arugula, pumpkin seeds, craisins, honey and sriracha. Rosie’s also serves lunch.

There’s a new limited-time mashup at Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. The restaurant chain has created the Smash Burger Taco. It’s a grilled tortilla filled with a steakburger patty, American cheese, lettuce and jalapeno fry sauce. It can be customized with free ingredients like tomatoes and grilled onions, or you can pay extra for things like chili and bacon.

Boss’ Pizza & Chicken has a featured pizza that’s available through March. The Bee Sting is topped with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, beef and mozzarella with honey (the Bee) and crushed red peppers (the Sting).

At CNC Food Factory, the cafe inside the GreatLIFE at Avera McKennan Fitness Center, diners can find baked doughnuts, with gluten-free versions too. The newest offering is Lemon Crunch. It’s a lemon cake doughnut with white Oreo chunks and cream cheese frosting that’s dipped in lemon/Oreo crunch with a lemon frosting drizzle.
