4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

Start off the day with Salmon Benedict at the Phillips Avenue Diner. The dish on the Frosty Features menu includes a toasted English muffin, poached eggs and grilled salmon, topped with a roasted red pepper hollandaise sauce. It’s served with hashbrowns. The menu will be served through this month.

Sunny’s Pizzeria put a breakfast-for-lunch-and-dinner spin on its two featured pizzas. Our pick is the 605 M-egg-azine Morning Edition, which was created with the help of staff members at 605 Magazine. It’s topped with a creamy enchilada sauce, cheddar and pepper jack cheeses, chorizo, bacon, scrambled eggs, onions, green chiles and jalapenos with a sriracha drizzle.

Baking up a Storm’s new Winter Squash Salad features roasted butternut squash, pomegranate seeds, dates, pistachios, goat cheese and a choice of meat. We’d be happy with this pick of chicken and bacon, and the recommendation to pair it with a raspberry vinaigrette.

Jimmy John’s has a festive take for its newest cookie. The Holiday Magic Cookie is a sugar cookie with red and green milk chocolate M&M’s topped with sprinkles.
