We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

New fall treats at Perch include Apple Caramel Streusel Danish. A flaky pastry square is filled with spiced apples and topped with streusel and a drizzle of caramel.

It’s pumpkin-flavor season, and here’s a new one. Nautical Bowls is serving the Pumpkin Spice Protein Bowl for a limited time. It features a new pumpkin spice base, coconut base, a new pumpkin chia pudding, granola, banana, almond butter, pumpkin seeds, new pumpkin pecan protein crumbles, honey and pumpkin spice topping.

Typical Oktoberfest menus are heavy on the protein and carbs, but 22Ten Kitchen Cocktails has included a lighter option. The Herbst Salad includes spinach, crown lettuce, celery leaf, candied walnuts, red onion, cucumber, cambozola — a German soft-ripened cheese — and chicken apple sausage lardon, which is diced and crispy, served with an apple cider vinaigrette. Add chicken, shrimp or salmon for an extra charge.

Fall lunch specials at Crack’d Pot include the Jumbo Pork Tenderloin Sandwich. The half-pound breaded pork patty on a kaiser bun comes with lettuce, pickles, a side of mayo and a choice of french fries, soup or tossed salad. It’s served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
