4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

The Phillips Avenue Diner has several new menu items. Our pick is the Ranchero Omelette. The three-egg omelet is filled with chorizo sausage, onion, jalapeno and pepper jack cheese and is served with ranchero sauce, avocado and sour cream.  It comes with hash browns and choice of toast and is served until 11 a.m. daily.

If you’re drinking a pint or two at a pub, it can’t hurt to fill your belly with comfort food. The recently reopened McNally’s Irish Pub serves meatloaf. It’s Angus beef blended with herbs, spices and vegetables and is served with Irish champs — think mashed potatoes — and Guinness gravy.

Inca Mexican Restaurant’s spin on quesabirria features slow-cooked shredded beef and cheese melted between two flour tortillas and topped with cilantro and onion. It comes with red and green sauces for dipping.

Mary’s Mountain Cookies has a new seasonal offering: Toffee Caramel Crunch. A sugar cookie is topped with sea salt caramel glaze, sprinkled with toffee bits and drizzled with dark chocolate.
