4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

Looking for a no-frills smashburger? Milt’s Classic is on the menu at The Lodge Bar & Grill, the new restaurant at Jacobson Plaza. It’s a double patty with house-smoked American cheese, onion, pickle and “fancy sauce” on a brioche bun. Make it a deluxe with lettuce, tomato and grilled onion. It’s served with crinkle-cut fries. The burger is named after the father of Dianne Jacobson, who with her husband, Garry, helped fund the plaza at 800 N. Phillips Ave.

The new full-service restaurant version of Pizza Cheeks offers more than pizza. Linguine & Clams is one of the dishes co-owner Jordan Taylor was excited to bring to the menu. Fresh littleneck clams, herb butter, white wine and Parmesan are tossed with linguine.

After a long day of yard work, here’s a meal to refill your tank: The Tavern Grill’s new Bistro Steak. Grilled and sliced steak is topped with steak butter sauce and served with bordelaise sauce, mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies.

Wendy’s has supercharged its traditional Frosty with new Frosty Fusions. Flavors include Caramel Crunch, Pop-Tarts Strawberry and Oreo Brownie.
