4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

Flyboy Donuts has expanded its menu to include Rocket Dogs — also known as pigs in a blanket or Texas kolaches. They’re sweet dough wrapped around cheddar wurst or queso sausage.

Famous Dave’s has a new limited-time Korean Sweet Heat sauce and several featured menu items to go with it. Smoked Brisket Egg Rolls have beef brisket, cream cheese, sauteed onions, cheddar cheese and the Korean Sweet Heat sauce. They’re hand-wrapped and fried. The sauce also comes on the side for dipping.

Chillier weather is sure to arrive soon, and Crooked Pint Ale House’s spin on Tater Tot Hot Dish will provide those comfort-food calories to keep you warm. The dish features seasoned ground beef, onions, corn, carrots and peas in gravy, topped with white American cheese and tater tots.

Here’s the pumpkin pick for the week: Olive Garden’s new Pumpkin Cookie Butter Cheesecake. A graham cracker crust is layered with pumpkin and classic cheesecakes. There’s a cookie butter swirl in the top layer, a drizzle of caramel and whipped cream.
