4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you.

The website Eat This, Not That! put together a list of the best salads in every state. The Moroccan Chicken Salad at Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen made the cut, so you probably should try it this week. It combines a marinated chicken breast with arugula, harissa-marinated cucumber, grapes, Feta and crispy lentils with a preserved lemon vinaigrette.

The Falls Park Farmers Market returns Saturday, which gives us a great excuse for a Skipping Stone pizza. They’re all great, but we get there early, so our pick is breakfast pizza.

We don’t typically think of Tinner’s Public House for Mexican, but this might change our minds. The smothered chimichanga: a tortilla stuffed with taco meat, Spanish rice and a blend of cheeses. They fry it and top it with Gouda queso, lettuce and tomatoes. Add chips and salsa, of course.

It’s basically impossible to pick one thing to eat at the newly opened Prairie Cocoa & Confections, but we went with the nearly too pretty to eat Letters from the Prairie line featuring honey-cream cookies. Find them and much more edible art at 8th & Railroad Center.
