Oct. 6-7: A Haunted Cabaret
Get a little spooky with the most ghostly of tunes from the rock ‘n’ roll standards that get you in a trick-or-treating mood to the iconic movie classics that tingle your spine. “A Haunted Cabaret” from Good Night Theatre Collective features live vocalists, a fantastic live band and a combination of music, comedy and theater. It starts at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Washington Pavilion. Click here to learn more.

Oct. 7: First Friday, Art & Wine Walk
Sip wine and enjoy local art at more than 30 downtown locations participating in the semiannual Art & Wine Walk. Locations host an artist and offer one red and one white wine to sample. Punch cards are available at all locations from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday for $25 or buy wine by the glass for $5. It’s First Friday, which means many downtown businesses are open later, and there’s free admission at the Washington Pavilion. Click here to learn more.

Oct. 7 and other dates through Halloween: Jaycees Feargrounds
The largest fundraiser for the Sioux Falls Jaycees starts this weekend and continues through Halloween at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds. The 6,000-square-foot haunted house in the fine arts building. It’s recommended for ages 12 and older. To learn more, click here.

Oct. 8: Hello October Market
It’s an autumn-themed pop-up market at Convolo, 201 N. Weber Ave., from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday. Sip, shop and mingle with merchandise from five local businesses.

Oct. 8: Sioux Falls Roller Dollz: A Black and Boo Mixer
Doors open at 6 p.m. Saturday, and the whistle blows at 7 p.m. for this Halloween-themed mixer from the Sioux Falls Roller Dollz at 515 N. Main Ave. Tickets are $10, and kids younger than 12 are free. Halftime will include a kids costume parade and contest with prizes. There will be a 50/50 raffle, and concessions will be available. Come dressed to impress in your spookiest attire!
