March 27: Drive to Fly
First Premier Bank will present the third annual Drive to Fly from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Friday at Great Shots. Participants will help Midwest Honor Flight fly World War II, Korean and Vietnam war veterans to Washington, D.C., to visit the memorials dedicated to their service. The event is open to seasoned golfers and beginners. To learn more and register your team, click here. Midwest Honor Flight is a nonprofit organization in South Dakota, northwest Iowa, northeast Nebraska and southwest Minnesota that provides veterans with an all-expense-paid trip.

March 28: Pancakes and PJs
The Foster Network provides clothing, furniture and supplies to foster families. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 218 W. 13th St., ReCreate by Zenith and Midnight Spark Permanent Jewelry will host a PJ drive for The Foster Network. Donate new pajamas from size newborn to adult, and you’ll be entered in a drawing for prizes. Various vendors will be there, and Sorella Blends & Minis will serve coffee and mini pancakes. The two host businesses also will donate for every purchase made.

March 28: Marketplace Day
Look’s Marketplace, 500 E. 69th St., will turn its market into a celebration of all the foods and products that make it special. Beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday, you can wander the store and explore tables filled with samples. It’s a chance to discover new favorites and taste products you’ve been wondering about.

March 28: Doggie Spring Fling
Canines are invited to the fourth annual Sioux Falls Parks & Recreation Doggie Egg Hunt at Family Park with prizes for all sizes. Easter eggs will have a piece of paper inside that will correlate to a prize at the prize table. You and your dog may collect up to five eggs for up to 10 prizes! Enjoy dog crafts and photo opportunities throughout the event. The egg hunt will start promptly at 1 p.m. Saturday. Registration is required here.

March 28: Ventroquist speaks
Kevin Horner’s “voices in my head” tour will be in Sioux Falls on Saturday at Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar, 1301 W. Russell St. Doors open at 5 p.m. for a 6 p.m. show. Horner has been a headliner at The Improv and is a three-time People’s Choice Awards winner for ventriloquism. Plus, one fan will get to try out a ventriloquist mask.

March 29: Easter egg hunt
An Easter Egg-stravaganza for children age 4 through fifth grade will include crafts, games, a bounce house and an Easter egg hunt from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The event is hosted by First United Methodist Church, 401 S. Spring Ave. Register by clicking here. The egg hunt will begin at 3 p.m.
