Jan. 20: Music Trivia

Glacial Lakes Distillery & Brewhouse will have a Music Trivia Night to test all your pop culture knowledge. This week’s theme is hair bands, and joining the competition is completely free. With prizes awarded through third place, bring your friends for a night of drinks and friendly competition. Trivia will begin at 7 p.m. at the tasting room at 10th and Main.

Jan. 21: Predator Calling

South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks is hosting an online class on predator calls. The class, which will be taught by the department’s wildlife damage specialists, will help participants classify and utilize predator calls. All participants will get a free predator mouth call. The class will be hosted on Zoom from 7  to 9 p.m. To register for the class, click here.

Jan. 21-22: Media One Funski

The Media One Funski at Great Bear Ski Valley will benefit the Children’s Inn. The event consist of ski races, sled races and much more. This year, there will even be a snow sculpture competition. To date, Funski has raised over $1 million. The events will run from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Jan. 22: Storyland Theater Winter Workshop

Does your child have a passion for theatre and the arts? Storyland Theater is hosting a winter workshop event for children age 8 to 12. They’ll work on theater games, singing and improvisation, all while explaining just what it takes to put on a theatrical production. There are two workshop times, one from 9 a.m. to noon and one from 2 to 5 p.m. Both workshops will be hosted at the MariCar Community Center at Hayward Elementary on North Valley View Road. Registration costs $15 and can be completed at register.siouxfallsparks.org.

Jan. 22: TH Grey Grand Re-opening

TH Grey at 330 S. Phillips Ave. is celebrating its change of ownership with a grand reopening event. The day will begin with yoga hosted by Form Fitness from 9 to 10 a.m., which will be followed by coffee from The Source. There also will be champagne and giveaways available, as well as 20 percent off storewide.

Jan. 23: Family Bingo Night

Sioux Falls Pride and the Full Circle Book Co-op are hosting a family-friendly bingo night. The event will have both youth and adult prizes, and cards will cost $1 to $3. Cards will begin being sold at 6:30 p.m., and calling will begin at 7 p.m. at the bookstore at 123 W. 10th St. Bingo night is a part of Sioux Falls Pride’s Winter Pride event, which will consist of events the week of Jan. 23-30. Jan. 24: Moonlit Snowshoe Date Night

Looking for a unique date-night idea? How about snowshoeing? Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation is hosting a Moonlight Snowshoe date night at Legacy Park, and the event is open to all. For $8, you’ll get equipment to snowshoe through Legacy Park on 12th Street east of Sertoma Avenue, as well as hot cocoa. You’ll begin at 6 p.m. and be back by 7 p.m. Registration is required, and can be completed at register.siouxfallsparks.org.
