Feb. 23: Cookies and ale (postponed to March 2)
Unsure what beverage to pair with your box of Thin Mint cookies? Come to Girl Scout Cookie and Flight Night at Wooden Legs Brewing Co. in Brookings from 5 to 8 p.m. March 2. (The blizzard forced the event to be delayed.)

Through March 17: Faculty art show
View recent works by Augustana University art faculty, instructors and faculty emeriti at the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery on campus. The show features two- and three-dimensional pieces and includes painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, photography, printmaking and public art projects completed in stained glass and mosaic. The gallery is in the Center for Visual Arts at 30th Street and Grange Avenue.

Feb. 24: Free coffee with KindnessFirst
Note: This event has been postponed until further notice.
Join The First National Bank in Sioux Falls for its next KindnessFirst event at the LaDelle and Fourth Coffeehouse in Dell Rapids. From 7 to 9 a.m. Friday, the local bank will buy your morning coffee — or another beverage. One drink per person please.

Feb. 25: February Freebies
Forget bargain-hunting — and go straight to free. Twenty Dawley Farm Village businesses are giving away free swag and coupons for future freebies at this new event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Find details below.
Feb. 25: Wolf Pack fundraiser
The Attic Bar & Grill East at 4601 E. 41st St. is the scene for a fundraiser and silent auction to benefit the United Wolf Pack Special Olympics Team. The event will run from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Feb. 25: Rock the Shrine
The El Riad Shrine Chanters will host Rock the Shrine 2023, which will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday at the El Riad Shrine, 510 S. Phillips Ave. The evening will feature Pop Ricks, a dance party with today’s top 40 hits, throwback hip-hop, pop country, party rock and timeless classics.

Feb. 26: Happy Trails Hike
Ready to get outside after days in a blizzard? Sioux Falls Parks is organizing this Happy Trails Hike led by Chrystal from Wildly You. It will be at the Perry Nature Area along East Arrowhead Parkway from 1 to 2 p.m. After going at an easy pace, the hike will end with a guided stretch, meditation and cup of hot cocoa. Feb. 26: Sunday night movie
Spend the evening with “Uncle Buck” at Covert Artisan Ales & Cellars, 434 E. Eighth St., for a free Sunday night movie. The event starts at 6, but come early if you want to enjoy the popcorn. Sorry, no pancakes!
