Dec. 22: Beer and Carols

Beer and Hymns — Sioux Falls turns into Beer and Carols tonight for an evening of jubilant singing — no experience required. It will run from 6 to 8 p.m. at Remedy Brewing Co., 401 E. Eighth St. Donations collected  will be given to Church on the Street.

Dec. 23: Sing-along

Another chance to sing! The third annual Christmas Carol Sing-along at JJ’s Bar, 3000 W. 57th St., will begin at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. There will be an ugly sweater contest, holiday cocktails, tasty food and live music with Dylan Howard and Chad Madsen leading the chorus.

Dec. 26: Blood drive

Here’s a chance to give something different. The Great Shots Heroes Behind the Badges Blood Drive will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at Great Shots, 3505 W. Benson Road. You can donate a pint of blood in honor of local heroes: Sioux Falls Fire Rescue and the Police Department. The Community Blood Bank now requires a valid ID.

Dec. 27: Friendsmas

Full Circle Book Co-op, 123 W. 10th St., will host Friendsmas at 7 p.m. Saturday. There will be music, potluck grub, games, beer bongs and other activities.

Dec. 27: After Party

The After Party is back at Trio Jazz Club, 340 S. Main Ave. It will begin at 11:30 p.m. Saturday and run until 2 a.m. Dante will perform the live house set, with signature cocktails all night and all-white attire. There is a $10 cover charge.
