Sioux Falls family rolls to victory on ‘Family Feud’
The Zomer family of Sioux Falls brought the house down at a viewing party today as they delivered a dominating win on “Family Feud.”

Dale and Myra Zomer, son Damon, daughter Cierra and son-in-law Matt Triplett landed a spot on the show after Damon submitted their name while watching it repeatedly while quarantined in 2020.

Damon, a pilot, was unable to fly and instead ended up binge-watching the show. The family auditioned via Zoom and later taped their episode in Atlanta.
Their episode aired for the first time today, and they were joined by a large crowd that gathered for a viewing party at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance, cheering like they were at a sports event when the Zomers scored.

From the first face-off, the points began adding up, and the family never looked back.

After Dale won the challenge with “dirty” in response to what a man might have in common with his underwear, the family went on to win that question and then steal from their opponents – defending champs the White family from Detroit. Their question: “In hell you might have to be roommates for eternity with your —”
The Zomers correctly answered “in-laws.”
Then it was back to the Whites, who again had their question stolen by the Zomers when they answered “leave me” to fill in the blank for the question “Will you ever (blank) me?”

Heading into the final face-off, “it’s still anybody’s game,” host Steve Harvey reminded the audience.
But it really wasn’t.
The Zomers won the face-off with the question “Green is the color of (blank),” and while they didn’t guess all four responses, the White family failed to steal.
Final score: Zomer family, 484; White family, 0.

Then it was on to the Fast Money round, when Damon and Myra represented the family and had 20 and 25 seconds to answer five questions.

Damon got exactly halfway there with 100 points.
And Myra brought it home, ending up with 102 points – two more than they needed to win $20,000.

The Sioux Falls crowd went crazy.

“It was like reliving this all over again,” Dale said. “We’ve been waiting since May, and keeping our mouths quiet was hard.”
And because they won, the Zomers will be back on at 4 p.m. Friday.

While they haven’t set a location to watch it yet, they will keep playing until they quit winning.
“So this could go on for who knows how long,” Dale said.
