This week’s My 605 is Reggie Kuipers, president of Bender Commercial Real Estate Services and owner of pigeon Sid. “Sid was my college golf coach at USF and one of the best men I know.”

My home in the 605 is: Arbor’s Edge on the east side of Sioux Falls.

The biggest reason I live in the 605 is: Family, friends, and opportunity.

After home, I spend the most time here: On the golf course.

When I need to get away, you’ll find me: On a beach vacation.

The best meal I ever ate in the 605 was at: Anywhere on a patio with my wife.

My go-to coffee shop is: Dunn Brothers.

My favorite place to grab an adult beverage in the 605 is: Highball.

When I need to experience the great outdoors, you’ll find me: At Sutton Bay or hunting/fishing around Platte with family and friends.

The spot I’d recommend for a date is: We love going to any downtown patio.

The best pizza in the 605 is: Fiero Pizza is awesome!

When my friends and I get together, you’ll probably find us: At the Alibi.

The place you never can go wrong taking kids is: I’m a big believer in getting kids outside. We enjoy golf, parks, hikes or playing sports!

When I want to meet new people in the 605 I go to: Central Church — the church has grown tremendously in the last few years, and I seem to meet new people there frequently.

The one thing I’m least crazy about in the 605 is: The 605 is great. I’m not going to complain about anything!
