Kuehn Park Pool to open Saturday
The Kuehn Park Pool is set to open for the summer season at 1 p.m. Saturday, according to the Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation Department.
The pool had been closed because of a lack of available lifeguards.
Frank Olson Pool will open only for swimming lessons and scheduled swim team practices on Mondays. Kuehn Park Pool, Laurel Oak Family Aquatic Center and Terrace Park Family Aquatic Center also will begin swimming lessons Monday.
Frank Olson Pool and the McKennan Wading Pool remain closed for open swim until more lifeguards are hired. Those interested in working as a lifeguard can apply here.
