Drake Springs Family Aquatic Center will be without some of its most popular attractions for a while.

The city’s Parks & Recreation Department announced today the lazy river and tube slide are unavailable to use because of a mechanical failure.

“We are working diligently with a local contractor to make the necessary repairs,” it said in a statement.

The bad news: At this point, the repair is estimated to require four weeks.

Water walking is still available at Midco Aquatic Center.
