Downtown debuts ‘Appe-teaser’ event

Get a taste of what’s to come during downtown’s annual Restaurant Week with this new “Appe-teaser” event.

The Washington Pavilion’s Visual Arts Center will host the event from 6 to 8 p.m. March 31, giving attendees a preview of the featured dishes available April 2-10 during Restaurant Week.

The experience will include connecting with local farmers while visiting different restaurant stations to sample the featured teasers. The chef or restaurateur  will explain tasting notes, inspiration and more. Local farmers will give attendees an opportunity to learn about sustainability efforts, production and true farm-to-table stories.
