Apartments on the Move: New openings for early 2023

There’s still historic demand for apartments in Sioux Falls, which means this year is off to a strong start with new living options.

We take a look inside nearly a dozen apartments ready or nearly ready for you to move in in our latest edition of Apartments on the Move.

First, a brand-new option for the east side.

The Carlton at Dawley Farm brings a whole new level of luxury to this side of town, with lots of community gathering areas, plus an indoor pool.

“We’re so excited,” said Donya Hoscheid of property manager Lloyd Cos. “The east side is growing, Dawley Farms is incredible for the shopping and resources around here. You can walk across the street and go catch a movie or go to Target.”

Then, we’ll take you inside a one-of-a-kind downtown loft with more than 3,000 square feet and an amazing rooftop patio view.

Loft 224 is in the heart of Phillips Avenue and is in a historic building that has been completely renovated.

“It is one of a kind. It’s all yours, no neighbors,” said Shelly Linn of property manager Cresten Properties. “We would consider a two-year, three-year lease if somebody was interested because I believe once you move in you’re going to want to stay.”

And, we’ll head to the west side for an inside look at University Hills Village, a one-of-a-kind community with tons of amenities inside and out. Its brand-new building is even complete with its own pub and grill.

“We have such a wide variety of people, all age types. Quite a few students, but they also go to school and work full time as well,” said Lacey Sheridan of property manager Dynamic Services. “Our buildings are very quiet, and it’s easy access to get to anywhere in Sioux Falls. This side of town is just growing so much.”
