“The Grove is intended to offer housing to families with children who are at or below 60 percent of the area median income. We are integrating affordable housing into our newly developing areas of the community, offering these residents the same access to schools, retail and services as their counterparts at other income levels.”

The location

The Grove is at 8600 W. 41st St., near the intersection of 41st and Ellis Road.

“This puts you close to so much shopping, dining, health care and employment opportunities,” Day said. “It’s a prime location.”

The apartments

The Grove offers a three-story, 35-unit building with a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.

Apartments offer open floor plans, modern finishes, an in-unit washer and dryer, and plenty of natural light.

The amenities

Residents at The Grove enjoy a playground with a grilling and picnic area, offering extra space to unwind and meet your neighbors, in addition to the option for bonus storage.

Additionally, The Grove is a partnership with the nonprofit Empower, “so our residents will have access to the programs and ministries offered by that organization,” Day said.
