4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig int o the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

If breakfast is your favorite meal of the day, Daily Clean Food & Drink has added sandwiches. The Benny California is one of five offerings, all of which are served on croissants made by neighboring Breadico. It features egg, spinach and tomato topped with housemade avocado hollandaise.

Zooks Coffee Bar in Tea has created the Stuffed Chicken Chipotle Croissant. Shredded chicken, cheese and chipotle sauce are stuffed into a croissant and sprinkled with chipotle seasoning. Everything is toasted until the cheese is melted and golden brown.

Gateway Bar & Grill, which calls itself Arrowhead North in honor of the Super Bowl-bound Kansas City Chiefs, has created a special in honor of Coach Andy Reid. The Andy Reidsburger is a KC twist on his favorite: a cheeseburger. The hamburger patty is topped with cheddar cheese and barbecue pulled pork. The special will be available all month.

Harrisburg added a new bakery this month: Sugar Palace by Emily. It features cupcakes, cookies, brownies and custom-ordered cakes. Here’s a vanilla cupcake with raspberry buttercream.
