The new Gruff Plates + Pours in Brandon has several lunch specials that are served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Here’s the Brandon Hot Gruff. It’s an open-faced sandwich on egg-battered Texas toast with roast turkey, thick-cut bacon, tomato, gouda cheese sauce and green onion.

Escape the chill and take your tastebuds to the islands with this sandwich on the featured menu for November at Tinner’s Public House. The Honolulu Pork Sandwich has pulled pork, ham, barbecue sauce, havarti cheese and mango salsa on a toasted ciabatta bun. It’s served with a choice of side.

With the arrival of cooler weather, Stensland Family Farms has added warm drinks with ice cream to the menu at the three retail stores. Add your favorite half-scoop of ice cream to hot apple cider or hot chocolate. Suggested pairings are Farmhouse Original or Cinnamon Stick with the cider and Udder Me Mint or Butter Brickle with the hot chocolate.
