4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

Pizza Cheeks has several new menu items where pesto is the highlight. Our pick is the Green Dream pizza. It’s topped with pesto, stracciatella — a creamy cheese — dry mozzarella, roasted chicken, artichokes, red onion, asparagus and pecorino. Get it in 12- or 18-inch sizes.

From the verao, or summer, feature menu at Roots of Brasil, diners can try the Curry Verde. Sauteed plantains, ground chuck, yellow onions, spinach and herbs are served in a green curry, along with rice.

Looking for something spicy? Atomic Wings has a new Queso Chicken Sandwich. The restaurant’s crispy, hand-breaded chicken is served with the new Flare sauce, new Meltdown Queso and jalapeno slices — all on a brioche bun.

For dessert, 22Ten Kitchen Cocktails has brought back Chocolate Orange Profiteroles as part of its Hall of Fame features. The pastries are filled with orange-scented custard, topped with warm chocolate ganache, candied orange and mint, and served with whipped cream. The dish is available for lunch or dinner.
