4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

The Smoked Culture BBQ & Brews has several new menu items. Our pick is the Southwest Wrap. A grilled tortilla is filled with grilled chicken, iceberg lettuce, corn pico, black beans and chipotle ranch.

The new spring menu at M.B. Haskett Delicatessen includes Seared Sea Scallops and Spring Peas. In addition to scallops and fresh peas, the dish includes risotto al salto, which are crispy rice pancakes, pea puree and fennel.

Who doesn’t love a crispy chicken sandwich? Blarney Stone Pub has a one that’s part of the all-day menu. The Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich features a chicken breast served on a grilled bun with garlic aioli and dill pickles. There’s Cajun ranch sauce, lettuce, tomato and more pickle on the side, along with waffle fries.

There’s still time to get these two bygone Blizzard flavors at DQ Grill & Chill. The chain opened up the DQ Freezer for the first time, bringing back Brownie Batter and Frosted Animal Cookie for April. In the future, look for more re-releases from the DQ Freezer, which holds the recipes for more than 170 flavors.
