Then & Now: Celebrating Halloween

Children in the Sioux Falls area have been dressing up for Halloween for decades.

Siouxland Heritage Museums shared photographs from two albums in its collection.

These are from Robin Rieper, who was born in 1930 and lived in the Riverview Heights neighborhood. The images were taken in 1936. Robin is the one dressed as a witch.

These photos are from the one-room Foster School near Crooks and were taken in 1948.
