Find coats and suits for $10; dresses, purses, skirts, tops, shoes, pants and jackets for $5; and jewelry and other accessories for $2. The sale will be at a new location — EmBe’s downtown gym at 300 W. 11th St. from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 9 and 9 a.m. to noon April 10. It’s free to shop. April 10: Children’s Book Giveaway
The Full Circle Book Co-op is giving away children’s books from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. from its downtown store at 123 W. 10th St. Visit, shop, have a beverage and each customer can choose five children’s books for free.

April 10: DIY succulent planting
If you love succulents, you’ll have fun with this DIY event. Decorate a planter, and plant your new friend at The Paisley Pod boutique, 112 E. Holly Blvd. in Brandon. Hours are noon to 2 p.m., while supplies last. The fee is $10.

April 11: Brunch & Braids
Dads and daughters are invited to a crash course in hairstyling to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire. Enjoy light brunch at Looks Marketplace, and get tips for ponytails and braids from a stylist. Half-hour slots are available from noon to 3 p.m., and the cost is $40 for the duo. Register here.

April 12 and 14: Futsal
It’s a fast-paced version of soccer — with a couple of twists. Head to Kuehn Community Center from 6 to 7 p.m. to try it out. The game is played five-on-five versus 11 playing 11, giving everyone plenty of playing time. Plus futsal uses a special weighted indoor ball to ensure maximum control. Don’t have a team? You’ll have one once you arrive in this “pickup game” format. All levels are welcome. Registration required, though it’s free. Click here.

April 12: Sioux Falls Beef Crawl
Celebrate beef with a three-course meal prepared by downtown restaurants while you visit with the farmers who bring beef to your table. Featured restaurants are Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen, Chef Lance’s on Phillips, Intoxibakes and The Source. Click here for tickets.

April 13: Sunset fishing
Whether you already enjoy fishing or want to learn how, this free fishing event on West Covell Lake is for you. It’s held from 6 to 8 p.m., and Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation will provide all the necessary equipment for you and your family to have an enjoyable evening of fishing. Poles and bait will be available on a first come, first-served basis. Individuals 16 and older must have a valid South Dakota fishing license. No registration is required.
