Amazing things happen in our schools every day — if you know where to look! Do you know some school news others would love? Let us know at [email protected].

Love the Veterans Day spirit at Tri-Valley School District, where students helped organize a program to honor area veterans.

O’Gorman Junior High marked Nov. 11 with a prayer assembly.

Kindergartners at Eugene Field Elementary showed their thanks to veterans through art.

And students at John Harris Elementary created a wall of heroes to honor veterans.

Students at Sioux Falls Lutheran School are taking on an ambitious task: This creative writing class is participating in NaNoWriMo or National Novel Writing Month.

Student Council members at Rosa Parks Elementary helped clean out the garden beds and pick up garbage around the school.

And finally there’s only about one month remaining to buy raffle tickets for the wooden playhouse built by CTE Academy carpentry students. This house is fully loaded with a kitchenette and loft and makes an incredible holiday gift. Purchase tickets by clicking here.
