Construction season is here, so we’re giving you a weekly look at what projects are done, where you’ll find traffic impacts and what’s scheduled next.

What’s done

Work on 26th Street between Fifth and Seventh avenues is complete.

What’s underway

Tenth Street closed at Phillips Avenue late last week because of a water main break. The road has reopened, but there are more repairs coming.

Traffic along Minnesota Avenue from 57th Street to St. Andrews Drive switched over to the newly constructed concrete in the southbound lanes late last week to allow construction crews to begin work on the next phase of the project.

Work should be complete by the end of November.

What’s next

The outside eastbound lane of 41st Street will be closed from Valley View Road/Holbrook Avenue to Marion Road to allow crews to perform street and utility improvements. Two lanes of eastbound traffic will be maintained by shifting traffic into the center turn lane. Work will be complete by the end of October.

Second Avenue will be closed between 12th and 13th streets starting Monday. Work should be complete in about two weeks.

Concrete repairs will start on 12th Street from I-29 to Marion Road on Wednesday. Work will be complete later this fall.
