Ready to roll! Downtown trolley returns for season
A sign of summer is back: The downtown trolley begins service next week.
Starting Tuesday, it will provide a hop-on, hop-off historic downtown tour and transportation through Aug. 28.

Here are the operating hours:
- Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday from noon to 6 p.m.
- Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Admission for the trolley costs $2 a day per person, and kids 12 and younger ride free. All trolley vehicles are ADA accessible.
The trolley stops at 18 popular visitor locations in downtown, including the Washington Pavilion, along Phillips Avenue, Falls Park, 8th & Railroad Center and Levitt at the Falls. Each loop takes 25 to 30 minutes.
The trolley is able to operate thanks to sponsors at Sanford Health, Lewis Drug, Marsh McLennan Agency, Great Plains Brokerage, Sanford Health Plan, Stellar Limousine and the city of Sioux Falls.
