Think you’re no longer at a career stage for a women’s leadership program? Prepare to change your mind.

As part of EmBe’s enhanced women’s programming, there’s now a dynamic three-tiered approach to supporting women’s growth throughout their professional lives.

“This expansion opens up a world of possibilities and benefits for our community,” said Melissa Hiatt, director of women’s programming.

Both the Leading Me and Leading With programs are six-month traditional formats that EmBe has perfected.

Leading Wise is a newer offering and “all about creating opportunities for everyone to be involved,” Hiatt said.

“I can’t say enough about the exponential learning that happens in groups and while in community with others. If you want to grow, are in the midst of transition, feel stuck, would like to develop a community or are just interested in the topic, sign up.”

For instance, Leading Wise offers “Level Up” lunches and a mentoring program that allow women to come together, share and learn from one another’s wisdom.

In addition, “we offer varying classes based on the community’s needs and interests,” Hiatt said. “They’re never longer than six weeks, and they’re open to anyone interested without an application or acceptance process. If you’re interested, just register and attend. Everyone is welcome.”

Here’s a closer look at two upcoming Leading Wise programs this fall.

Tapping into Balance: EFT Techniques for Stress Relief and Emotional Resilience

This virtual class will be facilitated by Rebecca Wiener McGregor, creator of Whole Life Happy Method and an intuitive hypnotist, trauma healer and leadership coach. She’s also the host of the “Elevate Your Mind” podcast.

The class will be Oct. 22 and 29 and Nov. 5 and 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. Click here to sign up.

We asked McGregor to share more about the program.

How would you describe the focus of your cohort?

The focus of the Emotional Freedom Technique workshop cohort is to equip participants with practical tools to manage their emotions, reduce stress and build emotional resilience. Through hands-on learning and personalized support, participants will master the fundamentals of EFT, enabling them to release emotional blockages, help themselves through high-stress circumstances and improve their overall well-being. The cohort is centered on creating a safe, supportive environment where participants can grow, share experiences and develop lifelong skills for emotional self-regulation and personal transformation. Ultimately, the focus is on fostering emotional freedom and balance for lasting change.

What can women expect to take away from participating in it?

Women who participate in the Emotional Freedom Technique workshop can expect to take away:

  1. Effective emotional management skills: Practical tools to reduce stress, anxiety and emotional overwhelm using EFT techniques.
  2. Self-awareness and emotional resilience: A deeper understanding of their emotional triggers and the ability to handle them with calm and confidence.
  3. A personalized practice: Techniques they can integrate into their daily routines for ongoing emotional balance and well-being.
  4. Support and connection: A sense of community with other women, fostering encouragement, shared growth and a lasting support network.

By the end of the workshop, participants will leave feeling more grounded, emotionally free and equipped to handle life’s challenges with clarity and peace. We will have some fun too.

How should a woman determine if this is a good fit for her – are you focused on a particular career or life stage?

A woman can consider if this Emotional Freedom Technique workshop is a good fit for her by reflecting on the following:

  1. Desire for emotional balance: If she has ever felt overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, difficult life circumstances or emotional challenges and wants a proven method to manage them effectively, this workshop could be a great fit.
  2. Openness to personal growth: This workshop is ideal for someone open to exploring new techniques and willing to engage in self-reflection and emotional healing.
  3. Seeking practical tools: If she is looking for a practical, easy-to-use technique that can be seamlessly incorporated into her daily life to improve emotional well-being, EFT may resonate.
  4. Desire for support: Women who value connecting with others and building a supportive community may find the group aspect of the workshop especially beneficial.

She may be at any stage of her adult life, though this workshop often resonates strongest with women who are managing full and rich personal lives and thriving careers, and seeking internal balance. This technique and workshop are particularly helpful if she is on a journey of self-discovery or personal growth. The awareness and understanding she gains from this workshop will benefit not only herself but also her family and anyone she leads at home, in her community or at work — impacting her life for many years to come. It’s a skill that will grow with her throughout her life. If she is looking for a way to foster emotional freedom and resilience, this workshop is likely a great fit for her.

We asked Gillette to share more about the program.

How would you describe the focus of your cohort?

In this cohort, the focus is on empowerment and resilience-building to transition from merely surviving to truly thriving, despite the many challenges and circumstances life brings. To accomplish this, participants will learn the profound impact of the mind-body connection and, most importantly, how to effectively leverage it through practical yet powerful tools. This is all done in a safe, supportive group coaching environment with women who are on a journey to elevate their lives, both now and for the long haul.

What can women expect to take away from participating in it?

Women can expect a transformation that leaves them empowered and equipped to experience life the way they desire, long after the workshop concludes. They will have the knowledge and tools for making powerful change — and sustaining it — which has immense impact on their personal and professional lives and all those in their circles. Participants can also expect to gain new friendships as is evident by past participants continuing to connect several months after being in the cohort. Empowerment is experienced both on the individual level as well as a collective. This is a powerful combination!

How should a woman determine if this is a good fit for her – are you focused on a particular career or life stage?

The best way for a woman to determine if this cohort is a good fit for her is to answer these questions. If she answers yes to any of them, she will definitely benefit from being at the table!

Do I let things “get in my head” and then perseverate on them for days?

Do I find myself in constant reaction mode to situations?

Are my emotions dependent upon other people’s actions and/or emotions?

Am I scared or nervous about a major change that is happening or is going to be happening in my life?

Am I questioning why I am feeling unfilled even though I have a good job and/or a good family life?

Do I find myself consistently saying any of the following:

  • “Once this happens, then I’ll feel better.”
  • “When that is done, then I can be happy.”
  • “If I can just get through this, then life will be good.”

A woman who wants to learn in an environment of multiple perspectives is also an indicator that this is a great fit for her. Past participants and group coaching clients have consisted of women who served as company directors, at-home mothers, financial advisers, hospital technicians, chiefs of staff, teachers, nurses, compliance officers, etc. Learning within a safe, supportive environment consisting of multiple perspectives has been one of the many points of positive feedback from participants!
