This week’s My 605 is Milana Arambasic, a digital solutions strategist at Profile Plan and owner of pigeon Coco.

My home in the 605 is: We currently live on the edge of southeast Sioux Falls and love it!

The biggest reason I live in the 605 is: The people and the supportive community.

After home, I spend the most time here: Probably a coffee shop!

When I need to get away, you’ll find me: Hot yoga – either at AMT or at Ignite! It’s a great way to unwind.

The best meal I ever ate in the 605 was at: Parker’s – they had the best scallop dish ever!

My go-to coffee shop is: This is a toss-up between: Coffea, La Luna and Queen City Bakery. All three coffee shops have a delicious Iced French Vanilla Latte.

My favorite place to grab an adult beverage in the 605 is: Highball – the Blue Lavender Lemon Drop is a must-try.

When I need to experience the great outdoors, you’ll find me: Depending on the season, you will find me at Good Earth State Park – it is so peaceful – or out on the tennis courts.

The spot I’d recommend for a date is: Carnaval Brazilian Grill – make sure to try the cinnamon sugar roasted pineapple and their signature meat, picanha.

The best pizza in the 605 is: Pizza Cheeks.

When my friends and I get together, you’ll probably find us: Having brunch, preferably on a patio.

The place you never can go wrong taking kids is: No kids yet, but my guess would be the park or an ice cream shop. We have a puppy at home, and he loves the park and pup cups, so I imagine it’ll be the same with kids. 😉

When I want to meet new people in the 605 I go: Either at a Young Professionals Network event or a chamber event – so many opportunities to connect with new people and serve on boards, while helping our community and other businesses.

My best memory in the 605 is: I have called Sioux Falls my home since 2000 and have so many memories here – graduating college from USF, starting my career here, becoming a citizen – but I would say my best memory in the 605 is meeting my fiance. We met at our first job, Carnaval Brazilian Grill, 10 years ago, and the rest is history.

The one thing I’m least crazy about in the 605 is: Snow during spring, but I will take that over snakes and scorpions any day.
