This week’s My 605 is Allie Milliron, a patient services representative at Avera and owner of pigeon Amelia.

My home in the 605 is: My home is on the east side of Sioux Falls.

The biggest reason I live in the 605 is: The inspiring entrepreneurial and supportive business owners — tons of great people and resources, some truly remarkable people in this community.

After home, I spend the most time here: Spending time with friends checking out new experiences and food.

When I need to get away, you’ll find me: Taking the kayaks out on the water.

The best meal I ever ate in the 605 was: Morrie’s Steakhouse — can’t go wrong with the filet mignon and creamed corn.

My go-to coffee shop is: Caribou or Coffea Roasterie.

My favorite place to grab an adult beverage in the 605 is: The Hello Hi. Definitely recommend trying the Beetle in a Haystack for a fiery experience.

When I need to experience the great outdoors, you’ll find me: The trails are my go-to and, to end it, downtown where you can watch the water and the Arc light up at night.

The spot I’d recommend for a date is: Johnny Carino’s — a good pasta dish and an Italian soda with cream.

The best pizza in the 605 is: My pizza favorite is MacKenzie River.

When my friends and I get together, you’ll probably find us: Checking out downtown Sioux Falls, trying something new and chatting about goals.

The place you can never go wrong taking kids is: Sky Zone indoor trampoline park.

When I want to meet new people in the 605 I go: Where I go to meet people is any event hosted by YPN. The “off the clock” is always a fun time.

My best memory in the 605 is: Getting the opportunity to stand underneath the belly of one of the largest airplanes our airport can hold with some amazing co-workers that still get together for dinner to this day from different parts of the United States.

The thing I am the least crazy about in the 605 is: Definitely the pot holes.
