Freebies for you and your pet await at Dawley Dog Day

The “dog days of summer” definitely are here, and Dawley Farm Village is making the most of them with an event designed for you and your canines.
Dawley Dog Day will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and is the perfect excuse to get your dog out of the house – or just show your appreciation by picking up some freebies for your four-legged friend.
More than a dozen places throughout Dawley Farm are getting into the fun.
“Dawley is a very pet-friendly community, and we wanted to show how much we love dogs here with a fun summer event in their honor,” said Kurt Moe, regional manager for Lloyd Cos., which manages the development.
“From The Carlton apartments, which are pet-friendly, to some of our newest retailers and restaurants, they’re going to be waiting with freebies for humans and pets, selfie stations and fun activities for kids and pets alike.”
Want a peek at what to expect? Think dog treats, pup cups, free samples, ice cream offers, photo booths, popsicles, special discounts and great contests.
Additionally, find two food trucks on Friday:
- ‘Brosia Bowl will be at First Bank & Trust from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- The Lunchbox will be near Kay Jewelers from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Some of the giveaways will be while supplies last.
“You’re welcome to come with or without your dog,” Moe added. “Just pull up this link or our event on Facebook for a list of participating locations and get ready for a fun summer day. Maybe combine it with lunch and back-to-school shopping too!”
