LSS Multi-Cultural Center is proud to announce the 26th Annual Festival of Cultures presented by First PREMIER Bank/PREMIER Bankcard, happening in downtown Sioux Falls on Sat., June 10.

“This event has always served as a bridge between varied cultural communities in our city,” said Rebecca Kiesow-Knudsen, LSS president and CEO. “It’s an opportunity for us to celebrate diversity and it helps strengthen Sioux Falls to be a community for everyone who lives here.”

This year, LSS is partnering with Levitt at the Falls to provide a centralized space for people to learn, celebrate and share. Patrons will enjoy live ethnic music, dance, and art while learning how to make traditional food and crafts. Activities take place between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the south parking lot of Levitt at the Falls, and the event will cap off with a Levitt concert by Chilean artist Pascuala Ilabaca y Fauna at 6:30 p.m.

“We’re very excited about our partnership with Levitt at the Falls,” said Valeria Wicker, LSS Multi-Cultural Center. “Having a dedicated space and stage, as well as an amazing lineup of events, will make this year extremely successful.”

This will be the first Festival of Cultures since LSS and the MCC began integrating programming in October 2022. Throughout this transition, LSS continues to listen actively to the growing needs of the community, gather insight from individuals and groups from all cultural backgrounds, and strategically plan and apply those insights to ensure that the MCC is a valuable and vibrant resource.
