‘Family Feud’ winning streak ends for Sioux Falls family
After two wins, a Sioux Falls family ended its streak on “Family Feud.”
The Zomers made it onto the board in the episode that aired today, but lost three out of four rounds to the Bonitatibus family from New York.
Dale and Myra Zomer, son Damon, daughter Cierra and son-in-law Matt Triplett landed a spot on the show after Damon submitted their name while watching it repeatedly while quarantined in 2020. They taped the episodes in Atlanta earlier this year.
This afternoon, a crowd gathered for a watch party at Crawford’s Bar & Grill as the Bonitatibus family won the first question: “A boring bingo night turned into a wild party when grandpa showed up with what?”

The Zomers had a chance to steal, but “buddies” wasn’t one of the two remaining answers on the top seven list.
The Sioux Falls family had control of the second round with the list “Name a part of your lover’s body that looks better when the lights are down.”
Host Steve Harvey had fun teasing the married men to be careful with their answers, encouraging Matt, standing next to his then-pregnant wife Cierra to keep quiet and “just take a strike.”
Matt’s answer was “nothing,” earning a fist bump from Steve but still earning a strike.
The Zomers ended up with three strikes, and the Bonitatibuses won with the remaining item on the list: feet.
The Zomers earned their 64 points for the day by winning “Name a successful funny man who really does laugh all the way to the bank.” Myra’s guess to take control of the list, Steve Harvey, was, of course, No. 1.
The Bontiatibus family eventually won the game with control of the question: “Name something you forget to take off at the airport when clearing TSA screening.”
The New Yorkers, however, failed to win anything in the “fast money” round.
The Zomers ended up with more than $20,000 in winnings.
Dale said they had a blast taping the game show and watching it with friends and family, and he encouraged others to apply for “Family Feud.”
“They said on Facebook they’re looking for other Sioux Falls families.”
