We always knew Sioux Falls was full of 1980s fans.

The location

The Rowe is a rarity when it comes to location: a brand-new property in a developed and sought-after area of southeast Sioux Falls.

It’s at 57th Street and Bahnson Avenue, so you have a great neighborhood feel, but you can easily take 57th Street in either direction and be on your way to everything in town.

“This is a fantastic neighborhood,” O’Brien said. “You’re not far from schools, and it’s so easily accessible to everything, from workplaces to shopping and dining.”

The apartments

The Rowe is pet-friendly and offers one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment options.

Finishes include dark cabinets, concrete-colored countertops, industrial lighting and a design that emphasizes natural light.

You’ll also find large closets, a full appliance package and patios or balconies in every apartment.

The amenities

This is where the ’80s inspiration really takes over. The Rowe’s clubhouse is like taking a step back several decades, with a fun and friendly vibe that will have you making new friends as soon as you walk inside.

You’ll also find a 24-hour fitness center and, of course, free Starbucks coffee.

“The clubhouse is pretty much complete, but we are waiting for a lot of the fun stuff,” O’Brien said. “Due to the unique design, almost all the furniture was custom-ordered, and you can guess how that went with COVID, but once it gets here, it’s going to be amazing. Think Ms. Pac-Man video games as tables. Need I say more?”

“We did just receive pool furniture, which looks awesome, and residents can start enjoying the pool deck in the coming days,” O’Brien said.
