A new apartment community surrounded by things to do in south Sioux Falls has lofts ready for move-in and more apartments on the way.

The location

The Overture on Cliff is at 1150 E. 69th St. on the east side of Cliff Avenue, so you’re surrounded by schools, dining and services.

“We have a lot of new places open nearby, especially for dining,” property manger Ilaria Blackwell said. “We started with Starbucks and B&G Milkyway, and now there’s Atomic Wings, plus lots of services, including nail and tanning salons.”

The apartments

The Overture has lofted floor plans available in studio, one-bedroom plus den and two-bedroom, two-bath layouts.

“These offer great high ceilings, with very spacious dining and living areas because of that,” Blackwell said. “Some them also face a pond with marvelous views.”

The property is halfway through opening, so more traditional apartments will become available in one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans throughout the end of this year and into early next year.

The amenities

The Overture is filled with fun for residents inside and out.

A two-story clubhouse includes a kitchen and golf simulator, with another lounge on the upper level, plus a large fitness center with an area for free weights.

“Our outdoor pool was very popular this year,” Blackwell said. “The community area with two gaming tables has been great. I’ve seen people on the golf simulator with their clubs basically training there, so that’s been fun to see.”
