Views of Falls Park are waiting when you move into downtown’s newest loft community, now open for residents.

The location

The District Lofts are ready, located at The Steel District development in downtown Sioux Falls adjacent to Falls Park and the Big Sioux River.

“As residents settle in, I hear over and over that the location just can’t be beat,” property manager Megan Pederson said. “They can hop out to Phillips Avenue for a walk to the Falls or head south and get dinner before a movie at the State Theatre.”

The apartments

The District Lofts offer studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments on four floors, including patios and balconies, with a style that residents easily can customize.

“Our homes are clean and neutral with an industrial flair softened by our high-end fixtures and finishes,” Pederson said. “We still have all floor plans available among the four floors.”

The amenities

There’s so much to do both in and around The District Lofts — and many of those new additions will be opening this fall.

Along with a fitness center that overlooks the river, the fifth-floor community room is complete, and residents are loving it.

“It’s a beautiful space to enjoy inside and out while also meeting their neighbors,” Pederson said.

“Plus, the River Greenway outside the building is taking shape, with our dog run at Lloyd Landing expected to open yet this fall.”

And, grab a coffee or any meal of the day without ever leaving home as multiple restaurants are opening at The Steel District.

Residents at The District Lofts are connected through a skywalk to the adjacent office tower, which includes Brioux Falls coffee shop and three restaurants that open this month: Big Sioux Burger, Dahlia Kitchen + Bar and Ironwood.
