4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

Let’s start with breakfast at Panera Bread. The chain with two locations in Sioux Falls has a new Sausage, Egg & Cheese on Asiago Bagel. The egg is over-easy, the cheese is American, and it includes garlic aioli, salt and pepper. There’s also a scrambled egg version.

The Live Fire Kitchen at Look’s Marketplace has several new menu items. Here’s the Ricotta Gnudi. The little dumplings are paired with summer veggies on a summer pea puree. Add grilled chicken, flat iron steak or grilled Skuna Bay salmon for an extra charge.

Celebrating football season, Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews has a fall special menu that’s filled with game-day favorites. Totchos features the restaurant’s signature tater tots loaded with nacho cheese, seasoned ground beef, salasa, sour cream, jalapenos, diced onions and tomatoes and shredded lettuce.

Here’s a tower of sweetness. Outback Steakhouse has created Thunder & Lightning. It pairs the classic Chocolate Thunder From Down Under dessert — a pecan brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, warm chocolate sauce, chocolate shavings and whipped cream — with butter cake and fresh strawberries.
