4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

With its new, larger space in the Jones421 Building, Swamp Daddy’s Cajun Kitchen is gradually expanding its menu. One new entree for dinner is The Boot. It’s panko-battered eggplant, crab cake and grilled shrimp in a cajun crawfish cream sauce.

Look’s Marketplace creates a special pizza every month. For March, it’s the Pig Fight. It starts with a grainaise base that’s followed by a cheese blend, pulled pork, Canadian bacon, pickles and green onions.

Looking for something new to try for Lent on the west side of the city? Shenanigans Sports Bar & Grill has created hand-breaded Pollock “Wings.” They’re available until Easter.

Safari Bar & Grill in Renner has a new Monday night special with loaded baked potatoes. Here’s one of five offerings: The Big Pig Baker. It’s loaded with pulled pork, Virginia ham, hickory-smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, crispy onions and Safari’s signature sauce. On the regular menu, you can get all of those toppings as a sandwich.
