4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

Perch has a new creation for the bakery case: Cherry Cream Cheese Danish. Flaky layers of pastry dough are filled with cream cheese and topped with cherries.

For a savory start to the morning, Baking up a Storm in The Blu on Lorraine now offers breakfast sandwiches on asiago or plain sourdough bagels. They come with bacon or sausage, egg and cheese.

The Tavern Grill is featuring Cajun Jambalaya until the end of the month. The entree includes shrimp, andouille sausage, chicken, red bell pepper, green onion and tomato sauce on a bed of rice.

They’re back! Josiah’s Coffeehouse, Cafe & Bakery is making Celebration Cakes again. The 4-inch, single-layer cakes are available in lemon or vanilla. They’re a great size for one or two people. Find a limited number in the bakery case usually every day, or place an order 24 hours in advance on weekdays.
