4 new things to eat this week

We cover new restaurant openings literally all the time at our sister site, SiouxFalls.Business, which also means we can dig into the menu so you know what’s in store for you. Here are our four picks to eat this week.

Celebrate Oktoberfest at Granite City Food & Brewery with the Oktoberfest Sausage Platter. A trio of sausages — jalapeno cheddar bratwurst, red hot link and Oktoberfest beer bratwurst — are served with warm pretzel sticks, sweet sauerkraut, a pickled cucumber salad and housemade Oktoberfest mustard sauce and German bock mustard. Pair it with Granite City’s Oktoberfest beer, a German marzen.

The new fall menu at Parker’s Bistro includes a dish that appeared on the original menu 16 years ago. Parker’s Grilled Pork Chop is served with the veggie medley maque choux, sweet potato, maple and pecan.

Here’s a classic pizza favorite with a trendy twist. La Luna Cafe is serving Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza. It features a personal-size crust made on-site and housemade hot honey.

Yonutz has a new seasonal treat: the Pumpkin Pie Smashed Milkshake. Vanilla ice cream is mixed with pumpkin pie filling, Nilla Wafers and a doughnut, all topped with pumpkin pie spice. The drink is topped with a pumpkin-decorated doughnut.
